At the edge of a lake by a mangrove forest, in a place of great natural beauty, a small pontoon generates a multiplicity of uses through its combination of differing heights, platforms and geometries and their relationship to the water. The construction method is simple and the materials basic, with value placed in the possibilities of how the space will be used. The requirement for an area to embark and disembark a boat becomes an opportunity for a small floating lounge from which changing views of the sun and the water can be observed.
