The Venice Architecture Biennale is a section of the Venice Biennale created in 1980 with the mission of exhibiting and developing contemporary architecture proposals, as well as offering a tool for innovative practice in the national and international urban context. It is an exhibition without real buildings, but with installations or performances by both established architects and young people.
